Meet the Collectors Behind Trova: Our Founding Brand Ambassadors

Trova was created for collectors, but from the beginning, we knew we didn’t want to build it alone. Our Founding Brand Ambassadors are collectors, creators, and community members who believed in what we were creating early on and have helped us bring Trova into the hobby in their own unique ways.

From Pokémon and Lorcana to the stories behind why they collect, each member of our ambassador community brings something different to Trova. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to the collectors behind the content, conversations, and community you see across Trova.

Jenn From Jhoto

Howdy! JennFromJohto here! I'm a collector of all things nerdy. Outside of being a content creator, I am also an artist, a gamer, a musician, a card shop manager, the executive producer of "Love on Johto Island," and a Ditto in disguise! 🤭 My love for Pokémon has grown to other TCGs over the past few months. I now also collect and play Magic: The Gathering, MetaZoo, Cookie Run, and One Piece when I can find it. The focus for my content has always been to find fellow collectors that I can relate to and connect with. With this mindset, I found Trova, who has proven they are more than just a binder. They are a community supporting collectors of all different sizes and backgrounds. The truest form of La Famiglia 💜

Jimmy Pulls Packs

Hi, I’m Jimmy! I’ve been collecting Pokémon cards and playing the games since the 90s when they first came to the states. I still remember exactly where I was when I pulled my first base set holographic Venusaur! I’m originally from Los Angeles but now live in Kansas City. Outside of Pokémon I love USC Trojan football, soccer, all things Disney, traveling the world, and my dog Riley! My favorite thing about getting back into collecting has been the genuine friendships I’ve made because of trading cards, and I’m so grateful that I’ve found such a wonderful community.

Movie Minute Rips

Hey everyone I’m Movie! I’ve been collecting Pokemon since I was 12 years old and recently got back into collecting when Pokemon 151 released. Outside of Pokemon I’m a husband and a father to four amazing kids. I’m a 90’s kid through and through, love Disney, marvel, and nickelodeon. I am a filmmaker in the real world and have been making film for over 20 years mostly in the non-profit space. I truly believe in the power of community and want to continue to build an amazing community in the Pokemon space. If we all approached life with a little more kindness and generosity the world would be a better place!

Set Builders

Hey Set here, older than most creators but youngest at heart. 🖤 My Pokemon collecting journey began with my kids, when they were small, during the XY era. I learned how to play and collect with them, and more importantly, learned early on how bad my hit rates are. I had a passion for screenwriting and acting in college. Content creating naturally feels like the perfect way to blend my two passions and be a part of a community, making lifelong friends.
